Vickie received her M.Div at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is a D.Min. Candidate in Pastoral Care and Counseling at United Theological Seminary. She is also a Supervisor Candidate of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and a Board Certified Chaplain of the Association of Professional Chaplains. Vickie is a Pastoral Counselor in training with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors with clinical supervisor Dr. Elizabeth Milazzotto. Other clinical supervisors of note are Dr. G. Wade Rowatt and Dr. Walter C. Jackson.

 Vickie has one adult son, Raychean and a granddaughter, Kyalie, who gives definition to grandma’s girl. She also has a great love of music and dance.

 The title for her D. Min. project dissertation is, How to Motivate African American Pastors and Ministers into Taking Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
